Eli originally hails from Sydney, Australia, and has lived in the Kansas City area since 2002. Driven to create, his main line of work involves designing and developing new products across a broad range of medical, scientific, industrial, and aerospace markets.

His previously intermittent interest in photography took a new direction when he applied to photograph Kansas City Fashion Week in the spring of 2014.

Working at Fashion Week has presented opportunities to work with other local photographers, designers, H&MU artists, and models, both on and off the runway. He had been an official photographer since 2014 until he joined the KCFW team as the Photography Coordinator in 2019. He is proud to be a part of Kansas City Fashion Week and to be able to play a role in the burgeoning local fashion industry.
