Julie Tracy is no stranger to fashion. Growing up in a small town in central Missouri, her mother owned her own beauty salon and represented the Redken makeup line. Julie was a hair model for her mom to introduce new product releases at hair shows. Not only was hair and makeup covered, but clothing was a huge part of the mix. Growing up learning the business of their small western store for 10+ years, always kept Julie in the latest style of Lee Jeans, Capezio boots, and Justin leather jackets. That love grew to designing and enrolling in Clothing all 4 years in High School. It was not uncommon for Julie to stay up all night sewing so she could wear her creation the next day.
Julie has always loved attending the KCFW shows over the years and interested in getting involved. She finally joined us in the winter of 2016 as a volunteer and after two seasons of volunteering, became the coordinator of all volunteers. It is no secret to those who know her best, she has a very diverse skillset and her role has evolved with many additions. It was only fitting she became our Hospitality Manager.
