Each season the crowd grows bigger, the shows become more elaborate, and the designers continue to impress with their talent and creativity. Modeling for the Kansas City Fashion Week runway is a huge amount of exposure and the biggest runway event in Kansas City!
KCFW just completed an amazing weekend of Designer Rack Checks & Rehearsals at Counter Point Event Space! The two days were jam-packed with each designer presenting their collections to the KCFW committee to ensure they are on track to complete and present their F/W 2016 collections in just two short weeks at Union Station! Along with rack checks, designers also completed final fittings and went through rehearsals with their selected models.
The room was buzzing with excitement and energy as each designer arrived and completed their rehearsal. Watching it all come together is one of the most exciting feelings leading up to the runway shows! As a behind the scenes tidbit, I can tell you , I watched and observed each designer present and rehears their presentation and it is going to be an incredible season! There are so many show stopping looks and an elevated design aesthetic that is going to make the F/W 2016 seson one of the best seasons yet!
