The Grammy Awards have to be one of the most exciting red carpet shows of the year! Most stars see the Grammy's as an opportunity to have some fun with their looks and take much more of a risk with their style than an average awards show...you really never know what you might see! There were lots of colors, lace, ruffles, and just about every silhouette worn by the stars this year. I picked out a few of the most obvious trends and some of my favorite looks from music's biggest night below!
Celine Dion wearing Zuhair Murad, Adele wearing Givenchy, Tori Kelly wearing Badgley Mischka
Greenery was just announced as Pantone's color of the year, and it looks like the stars are fully embracing this hot new color trend! I saw several stars pairing gold and green together for the Grammy's, but Adele stole the show with her gorgeous Givenchy gown and 5 Grammy wins while wearing it!
Jennifer Lopez wearing Ralph & Russo, Camila Cabello wearing Judith Leiber, Kelsea Ballerini wearing Ines Di Santo
Pretty pastels and light airy fabrics have continued to be a red carpet favorite this season. Several stars have chosen dresses with delicate details and shear fabrics all award season long. Jennifer Lopez dropped jaws in this beautiful lavender Ralph & Russo gown with a very high slit and key-hole neckline.
Charli XCX wearing Vivienne Westwood, Carrie Underwood wearing Elie Madi, Faith Hill wearing Zuhair Murad
Red on the red carpet always looks amazing! I love that so many stars chose the bright show stopping color! Carrie Underwood took this category for me with her Elie Madi gown. The shear lace, cut out neckline, and bell sleeves was a favorite silhouette of the night!
Rihanna wearing Armani Privé, Demi Lovato wearing Julien Macdonald, Lady Gaga wearing Alex Ulichny
It just wouldn't be the Grammy Awards without the girls who take the risks! Rihanna, Demi, and Lady Gaga, always have an edgy confidence about them and aren't afraid to push the envelope in the name of fashion. Gaga never disappoints with the "shock factor", but I have to say she owned this look! No one could have worn it better than her!
