Model Logan Nichols is preparing for his third season walking for KCFW, but what does he do in his free time? Dancing, playing piano and working as a music director. Read on to learn more about this multi-talented model:
How did you get started as a model in KC?
Chuck Arlund photographed me for a portrait project he was doing at the time. He liked my look and I think he asked if I had thought of modeling. A few photographers asked to photograph me and someone forwarded a photo to a modeling agency. I actuallymet my agent after a show during KCFW! (We are honored!)
How many seasons have you been involved with KCFW?
This season will be my third season participating in KCFW.
What is your all time favorite look you have ever worn on KCFW runway?
I wore a wool tunic that belted at the waist with fur designed by the winner of Project Runway Allstars, Anthony Ryan Auld.
Who is your favorite KC designer?
I really appreciate the work of Megan Stracy. It's very innovative and futuristic.
How has modeling effected your life? Have you made friends? Good memories?
I have had many opportunities to meet so many amazing people. I'm a talker so I always end up making model friends!
When you aren’t modeling, what takes up your time?
I am a music director, so I am at the piano or listening to music constantly. I also love being outdoors with my Golden Retriever, Lazarus.
What is your favorite spot in KC to hang out?
Mosaic Ultra Lounge in the Power and Light District. I loooove dancing.
How do you prepare for an upcoming KCFW season?
Nothing too exciting, maybe add a few crunches to my exercise routine. Packing for KCFW takes the most preparation…hah! (We agree, Logan)
What is your favorite type of music to walk to?
EDM or house music.
See Logan on the runway during our Spring/Summer 2016 shows.
